Star Parade

Sarah Carroll

My finest work to date, produced by adored friend and long-time bandmate Leigh Ivin, and starring the nascent psychedelic country stylings of wunderkind George Wilson, alongside Tamworth royalty Ronny Rindo and my musical sisters Gleny Rae and Jackie Marshall. Prime harp cameos from Chris Wilson and beautiful keys from Matt Gaudry and Barney Wakeford. One track stars the entire Rindo clan! Molto bellissimo!!
AND....this version of the album contains the bonus track Simple Sally, which we couldn't fit on the original...it's a reggae flavoured poem with a fabulous percussion loop made by us in the shed outside Tamworth. Farm equipment, drums, glassware, you name it. Tim Neal finished it off in Ocean Grove. Rad!

Dearest all, you probably know by now that my husband Chris is very unwell. I've been nursing him at home with help from wonderful friends and the good people of Bellarine Community Health. We're trying a variety of alternative healing techniques as well and focusing on peace, love and as much fun as it's possible to have together. Our children have returned to the nest and are such a support and comfort to both of us. There have been benefits held around the country which have helped us immeasurably, both in a financial sense and also in a deep emotional way. We are so very grateful for all of this help and loving kindness. Chris has been made aware of his true significance as a musician and a good man in a way he's never been able to see before and this means the world to our family and friends.

I haven't been able to work much outside the home but do have a few little adventures coming up, pending Chris' ongoing condition, which at this point is stable. I hope you can support these events whether or not I am able to be there. Much love to you all, Sarah.
